Team Quotes - LSU Match

Senior Caitlin Weiss:
How exciting is it now to have these tough four games behind you and to know that the last five games are all winnable games?
"We're going 5-0 this last stretch. That's our goal. Put it in there because that's what we're doing."

Freshman Courtney Cunningham:
How do you feel you played individually - you hit .300 today?
"Coach really worked us this past week. He made sure that we were doing a lot of hitting drills and learned how to put the ball away."

Freshman Whitney Craven:
How do you feel you played individually - you hit over .300 today?
"I thought overall our hitting was a lot better tonight. This past week all we worked on was executing whever the ball was. I thought we did a good job of doing what we practiced."

We lost two tough ones to Tennessee and Kentucky this past weekend. The team continues to work hard in practice and overcome injuries. LSU will travel to the Gillom Center Friday night for our solo match this weekend. 7pm game time. Come out and support your Rebels. You will be amazed by our young athleticism!

Ole Miss Soccer Post-Season

As the #21 Ole Miss Rebels prepare for Wednesday's first-round SEC Conference Tournament against Auburn, three Rebels received postseason awards. Senior midfielder, Danielle Johnson, was named to the All-SEC First Team, becoming the first player in school history to receive all-league accolades in all four seasons. Senior forward, Hanna Weatherly, made the All-SEC Second Team, and midfielder, Arielle Cohen, made the SEC All-Freshmen Team. Congrats Soccer! Go get Auburn today!
